Seekings partner/s in intentional community in New Mexico - Compensation: esoteric in Truchas, New Mexico

Lived all my life in DC suburbs, born in Arlington and lived in Falls Church or Fairfax mostly with a five year hitch commuting from the mountains of Front Royal to Springfield - looking back my first and unsuccessful attempt to escape the Rat Wheel. My wife and I left for good in the early summer of 08 having sold our small home in the DC suburbs literally weeks before the bottom fell out of the market and quitting our jobs making over a hundred grand a year - no regrets and it's hasn't exactly been a picnic - i've discovered that almost anything is better than running on thre rat wheel until dropping dead.
We landed at xxxx feet just outside a little art village of Truchas, NM - where milagro beanfield wars was filmed - twelve miles due west of Truchas Peak, 13,101 feet on the edge of the Pecos Wilderness at the end of a very private quarter mile long wilderness jeep road that I have turned almost into a rough, gravel driveway. ,
Santa Fe is 38 miles to the south and Taos is 38 miles to the north and the nearest town with full services is Espanola 17 miles and 2,500 feet below us in the Rio Grande river valley.
We have two acres and there is three acres above us and three below us that is unoccupied with a one acre lot adjecent to us on the south side that could be purchased fairly cheaply and we could provide water from our well and while functionally off grid now, we will have grid service later in the spring and this should enable us to take off, allowing for quick hook up of additonal housing. My wife works full time commuting to Santa Fe or Los Alamos - "The Labs" for an eye doctor and I have permanant diability from an MS like nerve attack that has left me limited in my walking ability especially but I can put around enough to get by. We are adults with hot water for bathing and a warm, secure house - just to be clear - not freezing out here in a xxxx Harvester. Our intention is to create a small "intentional" community and to increase our off grid capacity over time and to create a sustainable environment here in what I believe is one of the most beautiful locations on the face of the planet.
I'm looking for partner/s who are responsible adults - of any age - who could help especially with trade skills or at least a willingness and desire to build here where we can build like the locals the best type of housing for this environment which also happens to be realtively cheap to build - using mud from the land to form adobe brick, Strawbale for insulation and tractor trailer loads of raw pine logs can be delivered so cheaply that some neighbors have it dropped off in the spring then cut it up for fire wood. For someone who is serious and compatible - not into hard drugs or violence and I sure didn't come this far to listen to Rush Limbaugh! - money is not an object other than we have exhausted resources to get this far. When electric comes in, we will have a money making opportunity for (our small intentional community) but someone would either have to trailer of some type for temporary or we could finesse temporary housing but would have to build a livable structure by mid to late Oct when the ground freezes and the snows start.
So not looking for "renters" but full partner/s who share this dream which is very close to becomeing a reality and I believe just in time - looking to build up a secure, comfortable and rewarding living arrangement and PEOPLE are just as important in this as organic green house or solar well pumps. No need to shave head and sit on ammo crates full of AK 47 ammo, I believe. But there is a real urgency for me, anyway, to move beyond our foothold here and to the next level. I really don't think we have that much time left before the tractor trailers stop delivering food to the stores and the machine itself comes to a grinding halt.
While not an NRA member or gun nut, do have weapons here for protection. We also have a non profit called, Sky Medical Marijuana Ranch and are awaiting licensing for commerical production from the state of New Mexico - although, I may pull this because I am not happy with the program here and the way it is going. Basically, leave hat in the ring and see how things develop - earliest approval would be a year and half away due to the mechinations of the MM program here. We do have other means of making monies to drive into creating our space here.
I have been an avid outdoorsmen all my life, backpacking, cross country skiiing and sea kayaking and Sangre de Cristos are a world class backpacking destination for good reason. Living here is like camping out in the wilderness in its physical beauty.

Have far more knowledge of the real estate market than I ever wanted after our two year search for the "perfect spot" ranging across the entire state of NM. We ended up here because I love the Colorado like quality of the Sangre de Cristos and this area just has good vibes with a progressive feeling all around and that western inclination to mind your own business. Classic New Mexico geology is literally only about fifteen minutes downhill with high desert, cactus, craggy red rock cliffs and classic western buttes.
